Under the Overpass

  • Under the Overpass

  • Author: Mike Yankoski
    Published: April 1, 2005
    Read:October 2005
Thoughts: Absolutly amazing story. You can't read this book and not see the world and especially america's homeless in anenlightened light. Mike and friend Sam decided to be homeless for 5 months in 5 american cities. The story of their life over those five months tells you of how hard life on the street is and how america takes (or doesn't) take care of our homeless.

    Inkspell

  • Inkspell

  • Author: Cornelia Funke
    Published: October 1, 2005
    Read: September 2005
Thoughts: Somehow, even though this is said to be published Oct1, 2005, I found it in September and just had to get it. This book, along with it's prequel Inkheart,
this is quickly becoming one of my favorite fairy tales. Funke brings to life the popular fantasy of being able go into a book. But even fairy tales are never perfect and interesting things can happen when you try to change them.
