Thoughts: Somehow, even though this is said to be published Oct1, 2005, I found it in September and just had to get it. This book, along with it's prequel Inkheart, this is quickly becoming one of my favorite fairy tales. Funke brings to life the popular fantasy of being able go into a book. But even fairy tales are never perfect and interesting things can happen when you try to change them.
